There’s a young boy named Christian. He has no idea where his dad is and lives with his single mother. She takes terrible care of him, refuses to work and can’t even afford to pay off their electricity bill or give him some money to eat. The only meals he gets is when strangers donate food to them. Since the age of 15, Christian had been working in a school library to afford little essentials from himself to survive such as food, clothing, classes, he even has to pay off the mortgage for his mother’s house and the insurance fees for her home to avoid his mother and him from being kicked out of the only home they have.
His life is a financial crisis… everyday he dreams about becoming a millionaire, someone who doesn’t have to worry about whether they can afford to eat that day or if they have enough credit to send a phone call. That’s why he studies hard everyday to become a lawyer, he saves up hoping to pay off his cost for his classes if he goes to law school, that’s the only dream he has. However, his mother isn’t supportive of him wasting thousands of dollars on classes for law school, she’d rather use it all to buy herself unnecessary junk. That’s why he has to hide the fact he even works or that he wants to go to law school, he lies to his mother claiming that he got a student loan to pay for his classes and lawyer degree and she believes him. He isn’t worried at all about if she’d find out, he’s convinced it’ll be fine and he’ll finally become a lawyer in no time to pay off all of his needs and leave his mother.
Oh boy how wrong he was…
One day, when Christian arrived home from law school, he received a pleasant surprise on his door step.
It was a note, claiming that his mother knows about his attorney classes. Terrified, Christian ran inside the house to find his mother sitting on their sofa, holding his credit card which he left in his bedroom the morning before he left for law school. She claims to know all the lies he told her, how he was offered a loan to pay off his lawyer classes and fees, how he works everyday and doesn’t give her money to buy whatever junk she wants etc. He demands for his credit card back, it has over a $1000 in there and he had been saving it all up for over a year now. She kicks him out, taking all his savings and belongings, leaving him homeless.
His lawyer dreams are over, he has no chance to do anything anymore. Thinking his life is over, he goes to the city and he comes across a strange, familiar looking man. His father?
They reunite and get to know each other a lot more. His father is the owner of a famous insurance and loans company, worth over millions of dollars and does trading across multiple countries. He’s extremely inspired from his father and aspires to be exactly like him. He tells his father about everything that had happened to him and about his credit card fiasco. It doesn’t really matter though, because then he becomes one of the richest kids in the country and prospers in his dreams to become a lawyer.
Years later, he’s one of the most wealthiest attorney’s in the country, owning his very own law company and being the CEO of it all. One day, he feels because of all the credit cards, wealth and glamour he has, he needs a personal assistant to control most of his company for him so he can lay back and relax.
A girl named Delilah walks through the door and immediately he knows she’s the one for him. His father’s insurance company is incredibly wealthy and bought everything he’s ever wanted for him, his own company, his own home, fame and a lot more, he’s convinced he can have everything he wants in life… but it is not going to be so simple to have Delilah. Money can buy a lot of things… but can it buy love?
