TV producer Christoff is running a reality show where he secretly films the entire life of a person (Truman Burbank), right from his birth for over 30 years and it is aired in tv all over the world. All characters in Truman's life, including his wife and close family are actors hired by the tv channel. Truman is unaware that his life is being filmed and he is living in an artificial set created by the channel. All his actions are shot using more than 5000 hidden cameras and shown to the world 24/7. When Truman sense that there is something unusual happening around him, movie takes a thriller tone. The critically acclaimed, Oscar nominated, Truman Show is being discussed in the second episode of Outspoken Recommendations.
