It's now (count 'em) NINE monoliths that have been unceremoniously erected around the globe. Long vertical slabs of what appears to be stainless steel, 10-12 feet in height, located in both vastly desolate and more recently somewhat accessible public areas. However, this time, instead of a silver tint to the outer layer of metal, the latest vertical slab is GOLD in texture and was discovered in CHIA (pronounced "shai"; which means "City of the Moon"), in the Colombian Department of Cundinamarca.

"The canyon itself is remote and inaccessible without a helicopter", Utah’s Division of Wildlife Services told the New York Times.

The very 1st metallic Monolith appeared to the world-at-large on November the 18th in a red sandstone slot canyon in northern San Juan County, Utah, and it really struck me as strange (much in the way that "The Twilight Zone" was strange to me as a kid). Not simply because this monolith was discovered by Utah state employees flying over in a helicopter in the middle of freaking nowhere, in a red-rocky environment devoid of daily human traffic or even accessibility without coordinates; but rather because (1)there were no visible fingerprints on it (before the gawkers found it), (2) it sat eerily in a reddish-brown desert space and no scientist quoted had any inference on how or as to why it had so suddenly appeared. (3) It looked like legitimate alien artifacts, reminiscent most honestly of the squared metallic structure featured in the film "Space Odyssey 2001" (Directed by: Stanley Kubrick, Released in 1968), which poignantly freaked out the apes in that scene as they awoke from they're decided slumber to find the slab gleaming in the night!
But almost as quickly as the word traveled via news outlets and Utah residents enthusiastically making the trek out there to see it 1st hand, the structure was roughly removed by local residents on November 27th with absolutely no explanation. Since that day, there have been seven more structures erected across the globe.

****************UPDATE: A BRAND NEW MONLITH APPEARS IN CHIA, COLUMBIA AND UNLIKE RGE OTHER 10-12 FT. STRUCTURES PREVIOUSLY FOUND, THIS STRUCTURE IS GOLD! THERE IS HEAVY SPECULATION ONLINE THAT THIS PARTICULAR MONOLITH MAY IN FACT BE THE "MASTER MONOLITH". POSSIBLY CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING THE OTHER 8 STRUCTURES!

So what do you guys think or believe about all this?
It may have been laughable the 1st time or the 3rd time, but this is the NINTH STRUCTURE that has been found, super far away from the others and it is GOLD in color???
Is this ALIENS?
