This particular shows was a rather quiet room, not the biggest audience. Headliner Keith Platt (Professional Yorkshireman) provides a master class in how to handle comedy in such a room.

This headliner has another life as the front man of a successful heavy metal band, and the performance skills and commitment, with improvised work and solid material, are all there to be seen. All of which is why he has long been one of my favourite acts, no room to challenging for this comedy man.
