"Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk says he’s done watching the NBA after every player knelt during the national anthem prior to Thursday’s games. This is at least the fourth time in seven years Kirk has threatened to boycott the NBA over the actions of its outspoken Black players. His performative outrage is transparent and sad.

With most NBA stars using their platforms to promote social justice causes, it isn’t surprising there were mass demonstrations during the national anthem Thursday. LeBron James, who scored the game-winning bucket in the Lakers’ thrilling victory over the Clippers to cap off the night’s action, said afterwards the players were inspired by Colin Kaepernick."
