EXT. ENSENADA - MEXICO - DAY
Wide Establishing of the port with that huge Mexican flag waving over the harbor. Mexican MUSIC plays.
EXT. ENSENADA - MEXICO - DAY
A bus pulls to a stop and Stan gets off with Craig. They both have backpacks on their backs. Stan is holding a map and notes in one hand. The boys look around, then walk down the shitty sidewalk past shitty shops. They come to a place that sells those big pots and fountains. A Mexican is sitting out front the gate.
STAN
Uh, excuse me... We're looking for the
(reading)
Mexican Aeronatica Y Spacia Administra-tio-n.
MEXICAN
Programa de espacia, ah yeah.
The Mexican points one direction and the boys follow.
STAN
Thanks.
The boys walk next door to an equally run down and desolate front. It looks more like the entrance to a car lot or garden center. A sign that looks similar to the NASA logo says 'M.A.S.A.' There are three very crappy looking rockets in the distance behind the gate.
A Mexican guy sits in a shitty plastic white chair dabbing the back of his neck with a cold cloth.
STAN
Is this is Mexican Space Program?
MASA HEAD
Space. Si.
(gesturing with hand)
Fly.
STAN
Does the Mexican Space Program have rockets that can go to the moon?
MASA HEAD
Ah, sigume.
The head guy gets up and walks inside the gate. They boys follow.
Then REVERSE to a big master with three shitty rockets in the foreground. The guy leads the boys over to one of the larger rockets. Some other Mexicans are hanging out in the yard as well.
MASA HEAD
Es de rocket lunar.
STAN
This rocket will fly to the moon?
MASA HEAD
Si.
(gesturing with hand)
Fly.
STAN
To the moon.
MASA HEAD
Si.
STAN
We want to take something to the moon? How much would that cost.
MASA HEAD
Oh uh... Two hundred.
STAN
Two hundred?! MILLION.
MASA HEAD
Two hundred dollars.
STAN
