Stars CALL For Action - Powered by PokerStars - is a global online poker event where celebrities and poker fans come together to raise much needed funds to help in this global crisis.

PokerStars will donate $10,000 on behalf of every celebrity participating. For every celebrity, we will invite one randomly selected poker fan. We will broadcast live on TWITCH with ZOOM cameras on, poker fans and streamers all over the world will be able to follow the action, the live banter, the ups and downs of the event, all from the safety of home.

♠️ How does it work?
Celebrity Versus Player: The field will be split initially with celebrities taking each other on, and poker fans battling each other. When both sides reach 8 players, they will unite to play down from 16 to the ultimate champion.

No Limit Hold’em, One free rebuy is included so everyone gets a second shot at glory. The hosts will navigate through the tables and come to various celebrities to check in on the action. This is what makes it special and ensures people will stay – and most importantly – donate. Celebrities who get knocked out can head on over to a side event that will be featured as the Main Event progresses: Winner of the side event gets a percentage of the overall prize pool for their charity of choice (with pre-vetting).

♠️ Payouts
The winners will get to direct donations to the charity of their choice. 50% of the overall prize pool will go to Care International, along with donations from viewers. Remainder will be spread across those who ‘cash’ (number to be confirmed based on attendance) and directed to their chosen charity subject to Due Diligence requirements.
