In her interview, Ira talked about Stand Up Comedy in Greece and how women comedians are treated today in the industry. Ira Katsouda is professionally involved in stand up comedy, with continuous performances in Athens and throughout Greece. In 2017 she presented her first solo performance "Without Gluten" and this year (2019) the second entitled "For a woman, she is good". She has presented the awards ceremony of the Hellenic Graphic Design & Illustration Awards (2019), TEDx events as well as presented the opening ceremony of the 20th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival (2018). She is one of the organizers of the Thessaloniki Comedy Festival and also organizes Open Mic nights. She has written the play "Marriage", while she has also worked as an advertising copywriter. She studied Economics (AUTh), classical music, dance and acting. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
